Asterdex FAQ Help Center
Frequently asked questions regarding trading fees, liquidity, slippage, and safety.
Do I need to deposit funds into the DEX?
No. Unlike centralized exchanges, Asterdex is non-custodial. You trade directly from your own wallet, meaning you retain control over your assets at all times.
What is slippage?
Slippage is the price shift that occurs when a trade changes the pool's asset ratio. Large trades relative to pool depth experience higher slippage. You can inspect market depths on the CoinGecko market caps directory.
How do I earn fees on the DEX?
You can earn fees by depositing equal values of token pairs into the liquidity pools. The contract pays you a proportional share of the exchange fees generated by trades, powering decentralized finance (DeFi).
